Check Service Status

Connection

If you are connecting from a region where ISPs block a lot of services (like Russia), you may need to use a VPN. Otherwise, please try restarting Steam completely.

If it still doesn't work, try running Steam as administrator. Close Steam completely, then right-click the Steam shortcut and select "Run as administrator".

As a last resort you might need to disable IPv6 which can interfere with your connection.

To disable IPv6 on Windows (Windows 10 and 11), open the Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings. Right-click your active connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet), select Properties, and uncheck the Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) box. Click OK.

Gameplay

Use the "Prefer Goalkeeper" checkbox in the region sections. Check it to be prioritised for the goalkeeper spot, or leave it off if you'd rather play outfield.

When nobody in the match has it checked, positions are assigned randomly at the start of each match, so ending up in goal is down to chance, not how quickly you connect.

We're working on a more robust position preference system.

Performance

First, make sure your PC meets at least the minimum system requirements below. Note that integrated graphics (such as Intel HD/Iris or AMD Radeon Graphics built into the CPU) are not supported. You'll need a dedicated GPU to run the game.

Minimum

  • OS Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • Processor Intel i5 or higher
  • Memory 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics GTX 1650 / RX 570 or higher
  • DirectX Version 11
  • Network Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage 2 GB available space

Recommended

  • OS Windows 11 (64-bit)
  • Processor Intel i7 or higher
  • Memory 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics RTX 3060 / RX 6600 or higher
  • DirectX Version 12
  • Network Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage 2 GB available space

If you're on a laptop, this is almost always because the game is running on your integrated graphics instead of your dedicated GPU. Laptops often default to the integrated chip to save power, so you need to force the game to use the dedicated card.

Windows Graphics settings (works for any GPU)

Open Settings > System > Display > Graphics. Find or add Strikers Club to the list, click it, choose Options, select "High performance", and click Save. Then restart the game.

NVIDIA Control Panel

Right-click your desktop and open the NVIDIA Control Panel. Go to Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings, select Strikers Club (or add it), and set "Preferred graphics processor" to "High-performance NVIDIA processor". Click Apply.

AMD Radeon Software

Open Radeon Software, go to Settings > System > Switchable Graphics, find Strikers Club, and set it to "High Performance".

Also make sure your graphics drivers are up to date and, on a laptop, that it's plugged into power, as many laptops throttle performance on battery.

Compatibility

Strikers Club officially supports Windows only, but there are some options depending on your system.

Linux

Many players are able to run the game through Steam Play (Proton). It's not officially supported and we can't guarantee it will work or stay stable across updates, but it's worth trying. Enable Steam Play for the title in your Steam settings and launch as normal.

Mac

macOS is not supported and Proton is not available on Mac. Your best options are dual booting into Windows (for example via Boot Camp on Intel Macs) or running a Windows virtual machine with GPU passthrough. Both require a dedicated or passed-through GPU, since integrated graphics won't run the game.
